I would have retained him with me, that in thy stead he might have ministered unto me in the bonds of the Gospel;
whom I would fain have kept with me, that in thy behalf he might minister unto me in the bonds of the gospel:
I would have chosen to keep him with me, so that he might minister to me on your behalf during my imprisonment for the gospel;
I would have chosen to keep him with me, in order that he might minister to my needs in your stead during my imprisonment for the Gospel’s sake.
Whom I would have retained with me, that in thy stead he might have ministered unto me in the bonds of the gospel:
I wanted to keep him with me, so that in my imprisonment for the gospel he might serve me in your place.
I considered keeping him with me so that he might serve me in your place during my time in prison because of the gospel.
I would dearly have loved to keep him with me, in order for him to serve me in your place while I am in prison because of the Good News.
I would like to keep him here with me, where he could take your place in helping me while I am here in prison for preaching the good news.
whom *I* was desirous of keeping with myself, that for thee he might minister to me in the bonds of the glad tidings;
whom I was wishing to hold-back with myself in order that on behalf of you he might be serving me in my imprisonment for the good-news.
Whom I would have retained with me, that in thy stead he might have ministered to me in the bands of the gospel:
I would like to keep him here to help me while I am still in prison for telling the Good News. By helping me here, he would be representing you.
I wanted to keep him here with me, to help me on your behalf. I am in prison here because I taught people the good news about Jesus.
I wanted to keep him with me, so that he might serve me in your place while I am in chains for the gospel.
I would have been glad to keep him with me, in order that he might serve me on your behalf during my imprisonment for the gospel,
I would have been glad to keep him with me, in order that he might serve me on your behalf during my imprisonment for the gospel,
I wanted to keep him with me so that ·in your place [or on your behalf] he might ·help [serve] me while I am in prison for the ·Good News [Gospel].
Whom I would have received with me, that in thy stead he might have ministered unto me in the bonds of the Gospel.
I wanted to keep him here with me. Then he could have served me in your place while I am in prison for spreading the Good News.
I would like to keep him here with me, while I am in prison for the gospel's sake, so that he could help me in your place.
I wanted to keep him with me, so that in my imprisonment for the gospel he might serve me in your place.
I wanted to keep him with me to help me while I am in prison for the Good News. By helping me he would be serving you.
I wanted to keep him with me so that he could serve me in your place during my imprisonment for the gospel.
I am sending him back to you: will you receive him as my son, part of me? I should have dearly loved to have kept him with me: he could have done what you would have done—looked after me here in prison for the Gospel’s sake. But I would do nothing without consulting you first, for if you have a favour to give me, let it be spontaneous and not forced from you by circumstances!
I desired to retain him with me, that in thy stead he might have ministered unto me in the bonds of the gospel,
Whom I would have retained with me, that in thy stead he might have ministered unto me in the bonds of the gospel:
whom I would have retained with me, that in thy stead he might have ministered unto me in the bonds of the gospel:
whom I intended to keep with me, so that on your behalf he might minister to me in my chains for the gospel,
whom I wanted to keep with me, in order that he might serve me on behalf of you during my imprisonment for the gospel.
I really wanted to keep him here with me while I am in these chains for preaching the Good News, and you would have been helping me through him,
While here in jail, I’ve fathered a child, so to speak. And here he is, hand-carrying this letter—Onesimus! He was useless to you before; now he’s useful to both of us. I’m sending him back to you, but it feels like I’m cutting off my right arm in doing so. I wanted in the worst way to keep him here as your stand-in to help out while I’m in jail for the Message. But I didn’t want to do anything behind your back, make you do a good deed that you hadn’t willingly agreed to.
I wanted to keep him with me, so that in your place he might serve me during my imprisonment for the gospel.
I wanted to keep him with me, so that he could minister to me on your behalf during my imprisonment for the gospel,
I wanted to keep him here with me. Then he could have served me in your place while I am in prison for spreading the Good News.
I should have liked to retain him for myself, so that he might serve me on your behalf in my imprisonment for the gospel,
whom I wanted to keep with me, so that in your behalf he might be at my service in my imprisonment for the gospel;
whom I wished to keep with me, so that on your behalf he might minister to me in my imprisonment for the gospel;
I wanted to keep him with me so that he might be of service to me on your behalf during my imprisonment for the gospel,
I wanted to keep him with me so that in your place he might help me while I am in prison for the Good News.
I wanted to keep him with me so that he could serve me in your place during my imprisonment for the sake of the gospel.
I’m being held in chains because of the good news. So I would have liked to keep Onesimus with me. And he could take your place in helping me.
I would have liked to keep him with me so that he could take your place in helping me while I am in chains for the gospel.
I would have liked to keep him with me so that he could take your place in helping me while I am in chains for the gospel.
whom I wished to keep with me, that on your behalf he might minister to me in my chains for the gospel.
I would like to keep him with me. He could have helped me in your place while I am in prison for preaching the Good News.
I wanted to keep him here with me while I am in these chains for preaching the Good News, and he would have helped me on your behalf.
whom I would gladly have retained with me so that on your behalf he could have ministered to me in the bonds of the gospel.
I wanted to keep him with me, so that he might be of service to me in your place during my imprisonment for the gospel;
I wanted to keep him with me, so that he might be of service to me in your place during my imprisonment for the gospel;
I wanted to keep him with me, so that he might be of service to me in your place during my imprisonment for the gospel;
I wanted to keep him with me so that he might minister to me in your place during my imprisonment for the gospel,
I would have liked to keep him here with me, so that he could have been your representative in serving me in the chains of the gospel.
I was wanting to detain him with me, in order that he might function as a keli kodesh (minister), ministering to me in your place, as your murshe (proxy), while I’m detained in the imprisonment of the Besuras HaGeulah.
whom I wanted to keep with me so that he might have ministered to me in your place in the bonds of the Gospel.
I would have been glad to keep him with me, in order that he might serve me on your behalf during my imprisonment for the gospel;
I would have been glad to keep him with me, in order that he might serve me on your behalf during my imprisonment for the gospel;
I really wanted to keep him with me, so that on your behalf he might serve me while I am in chains for the Good News.
I wished to keep him at my side to take your place as my helper while I am bound for the good news.
whom I desired to keep with me, that on your behalf he might serve me in my chains for the Good News.
I would like to keep him with me. He can help me while I am in prison for the sake of the good news. That would be just as if you were here to help me.
whom I would withhold with me, that he should serve for thee to me in bonds of the gospel;
whom I did wish to retain to myself, that in thy behalf he might minister to me in the bonds of the good news,
